About DYA

David Yum Architects (DYA) was established in the year 2000.  We focus on residential and institutional architecture and design.  As Principal, David Yum brings over 25 years of professional practice experience to each project.  Prior to founding DYA, David has worked  at Gwathmey Sigel & Associates, David Chipperfield & Partners and Shelton Mindel.  Today, DYA builds upon a unique combination of experience, energy, and agility.

Our work has been published in numerous periodicals including Architectural Record, Interior Design and The Style.  Our current projects include a winery in Santa Barbara County, California; a new residence and interiors in East Hampton, NY; midtown offices for an NYC private equity firm; apartment renovations in Los Angeles and Honolulu; and a townhouse in Manhattan.

We continue to research, innovate, and build a track record of successfully completed projects, constructed to the highest levels of technical, managerial, and design skill.
